Anushka's Rudhramadevi, which marks to be India's first stereoscopic 3D film is gearing up for October 16 release by Sri Thenandal Films. Though the film has been released in Telugu, the release date of the Tamil version film has been pushed many times and finally much to the delight of the audience, the film is gearing up to hit the silver screens. As the Telugu version has been garnering positive responses from all quarters, the expectations are sky high!

Directed and produced by Gunasekhar, the film is based on the life of Rudramadevi played by Anushka, who is a 13th century Queen of the Kakatiya dynasty. The epic drama has a long line up of actors such as Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Krishnam Raju, Suman, Prakash Raj, Adithya Menon, Vikramjeet Virk, Nithya Menen, Aditi Chengappa, Catherine Tresa, Hamsa Nandini, Ajay, Baba Sehgal, Tanikella Bharani, Madhumitha and Brahmanandam. The music and background score of the film is composed by our beloved Maestro Ilaiyaraaja. Let's wait and watch!
