The 6th annual Hollywood Critics Association Film Award 2023 happened a few hours back in Los Angeles. Blockbuster film of 2022 that turned heads internationally RRR has won in four categories. The film has won awards for Best action Film and Best International Film categories. It has also won two HCA Creative Arts Awards for Best Stunts and Best Original Song. It will be another feather in the crown of the iconic film directed by SS Rajamouli. Everything Everywhere All at Once also won in multiple categories.

The director of the film accepted the award for Best Stunts at the ceremony. SS Rajamouli thanked all the stunt choreographers on stage and made a special mention to Todor lazarov aka Juji who worked for the climax stunt sequences and others "who came to India changed their working style to ours". He then went on thank the actors of the film as they used body doubles for just two to three shots and thanked his whole team. He ended says ”hope we have this wings to fly further and (thanks) my country the land of wonderful stories, Mera Bharat Mahaan! Jai Hind!”.
The star studded cast of RRR were present at the awards ceremony. As Rajamouli, took the stage for the second time to receive the Best Action Film awards, he said "I am growing wings already" and thanked everyone, made a request to add the stunt choreographers category to all major awards as they deserve it and dedicated the award to stunt choreographers around the world.
While accepting the award for Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu MM Keeravani stunned the audience by pelting out his speech in a song that received a round of applause. The Golden Globe winning music composer also thanked the HCA for the award.
For the Best International film category, Rajamouli and one of the leads of the film Ram Charan accepted the award. Ram Charan kept it short saying “we will come back with better films to entertain you all" and thanked HCA. Rajamouli siad “to all my fellow filmmakers in India, this is for all of us to believe we can all make international films. Jai Hind!"
