Sharing photos of Ray Stevenson, the official RRR and DVV Twitter accounts paid their tributes to the late actor, who portrayed the character Sir Scott in the 2022 epic action drama film, saying that he will remain in their memories forever. RRR saw Ray Stevenson playing the prime antagonist Governor Scott Buxton alongside lead stars Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, followed by the supporting cast Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris, with the film going on to win an Academy Award in the 'Best Original Song' category earlier this year. The actor also has a large body of work outside of his role in RRR in films that included notable roles in Marvel Studios' Thor franchise as Volstagg, followed by Othere in the hit show Vikings, while also providing his voice for the Gar Saxon character in the animated Star Wars series, The Clone Wars and Rebels. Born on May 25, 1964, in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, Ray Stevenson began his journey in action in the early 1990s making appearances on various European TV series and telefilms. He made his film debut in 1998 in Paul Greengrass' The Theory of Flight alongside Helena Bonham Carter and Kenneth Branagh. Stevenson also featured in notable films like Antoine Fuqua's King Arthur (2004), Lexi Alexander's Punisher: War Zone (2008), the Hughes Brothers' The Book of Eli (2010), and Adam McKay's The Other Guys (2010).
