Blockbuster Telugu filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli has been scaling new heights post the release of his pan-Indian box office blockbuster RRR released earlier this year, with the film also leaving many in Hollywood and the entertainment fraternity across the world spellbound. One among them is 59-year-old Japanese video game creator Hideo Kojima, who has been singing praises for the Telugu epic action drama film, which was also released in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. The RRR team, which includes Rajamouli and the film's lead stars Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, were visiting Japan recently to promote the film's release in the country, with Kojima sharing his delight at watching the visual spectacle while also recommending fans to catch it soon in theatres.
Extending his support for RRR at its Japanese premiere earlier this week, Kojima tweeted out saying, "The movie "RRR" is opening in Japan this weekend!!! Highly recommended!!!! I have given a quote, I'm RRRing 🚀🚀🚀🔥🔥🔥👍".

Excitement has shot up among fans considering Kojima has in the past collaborated with big names in Hollywood by including them in his games such as Death Stranding, which featured The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus, followed by filmmaker Guillermo del Toro of The Shape of Water and Hellboy films fame, director Nicolas Winding Refn, and Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen. Kojima has also scanned several people in recent times among whom include Elle Fanning, who as well is speculated to be involved in one of the game creator's upcoming projects, with Ghost in the Shell director Mamoru Oshii's name also in the fray.
In what capacity will S. S. Rajamouli be a part of Hideo Kojima's projects is currently unknown, but the news of their meeting has left many excited about the prospects considering the filmmaker's RRR has been showered with appreciation from many big names in Hollywood. As for his next big film, the Baahubali director will be joining hands with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu for the tentatively titled SSMB 29, which the filmmaker has stated will be a "globetrotting’action-adventure" and compared it to the likes of Hollywood classics like James Bond and Indiana Jones, but with Indian elements.
