Roma in love?
After a long time, a fresh romour came into the scene of Mollywood, buzzing that Roma, one of the young, lovely Malayalam actresses, has fallen in love with a young businessman from Kochi. This young man named Aneesh is a daily visitor on the sets of her upcoming film Lollypop, directed by Shafi.
Aneesh brings Roma to the set in his car and takes her back home everyday. During the break time, they both sit in the car. When her mother was asked about this, she reportedly replied, "My daughter is twenty five years old and nothing is beyond her happiness."
Produced by ABS combines, Lollypop stars Prithviraj, Kunchacko Boban, Jayasuriya and Bhavana alongside Roma. Benny P. Nayarambalam, who has written the script for many colourful flicks in Malayalam, pens the script for Lollypop, which is slated for a Christmas release. The shooting of the movie began early in this month.
Lollypop is about Franco (Prithviraj), a young man who runs an automobile workshop near the beach. Franco has a friend called Eby (Kunchacko Boban) who has a huge crush on Franco's sister Jenny (Roma), a college student who faces a lot of troubles with her enemy Rose (Bhavana) in college. Rose and Jenny argue with each other every time they meet. Franco tries to solve the problems between Rose and Jenny, but fails.
Paachi (Jayasuriya), a regular pickpocket, enters at this stage. Paachi tries to pickpocket Franco, but is caught red-handed. Later, they become friends and Paachi becomes an worker at Franco's workshop. The coming of Paachi into Franco's life and how Franco tries to settle the Jenny-Rose fight forms the crux of the story.
