Richa Gangopadhyay, while still basking under the success of her debut Kollywood film Mayakkam Enna, is gearing up for her next big release Osthe, which will hit screens this Thursday. But the chirpy actress says that her role is very different from the original. She has in fact clarified that the film is not a frame-to frame remake of the original (Dabangg, which had Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles) and director Dharani has made a lot of changes in the Tamil version. The film is all set to release in 110 screens overseas, the highest ever for a, STR film.
Osthe, produced by T. Ramesh under his home banner Balaji Real Media, also stars Sonu Sood, Jithan Ramesh, Revathy, Nasser, VTV Ganesh, Santhanam, Saranya Mohan and Mallika Sherawat (special appearance in a song).
