The first schedule of the upcoming Telugu period drama, Virata Parvam 1992, was wrapped up on Monday. The shooting had commenced on June 15 and the crew will have only a short break before the schedule commences again.

The movie will see Rana Daggubati star opposite Sai Pallavi, who is undoubtedly one of the most popular actors in South India today. The actor is also working on director Kammula Sekhar's upcoming project, which also features Naga Chaitanya. The romantic action flick will be directed by Venu Udugula, who debuted with Neethi Naathi Oke Katha in 2018. Virata parvam in Mahabharatha is the segment of the exile, where the Pandavas had to stay incognito for a year. The movie, while having a strong love story, will also have gripping action sequences.

Meanwhile, Internet has been surprised over how much of weight Rana Daggubati has lost. The actor’s new thick beard also drew some eyes. Reportedly, Sai Pallavi will also ‘glam down’ for this movie. We had seen the Baahubali actor in a slimmer avatar while portraying former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in the recent 2-part NTR biopic, but he is even slimmer now. Rana has just wrapped up the work on his upcoming Hindi movie Haathi Mere Saathi and he will also be seen in Gautham Menon's upcoming movie, Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta.
