Romantic is an upcoming Telugu film bankrolled by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme under their Puri Connects banner. This is Akash Puri’s second film who happens to be the son of Puri Jagannadh. Romantic is directed by Anil Paduri and has screenplay and story written by Puri Jagannadh. The film’s star cast also includes Mandira Bedi and Divyadarshini in pivotal roles.  It may be noted here that though Mandira has acted in several Hindi films, Romantic will be her second Telugu film after the magnum opus action film Saaho.  
 
It may be noted here that Puri Jagannadh and Charmme are collaborating for the second time after the massive success of iSmart Shankar, which the former had directed. iSmart Shankar had Ram Pothineni and Nabha Natesh in the lead roles with Brahmanandam, Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, and Pavithra Lokesh among others in supporting roles. Mani Sharma had composed music for this flick with Raj Thota cranking the camera and Junaid Siddiqui in charge of the editing. Shaik Jonny was the art director of iSmart Shankar with stunts choreographed by Real Satheesh. 
 
Coming back to Romantic, the film has a surprise new addition in the form of Ramya Krishnan. She joins the shoot of Romantic movie in Goa. Ketika Sharma plays the female lead. Important action scenes and songs will be shot in this 30-day schedule in Goa.
