One of the biggest blockbusters of 2018, the Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul starrer, Ratsasan, directed by Ramkumar under the Axess Film Factory banner with music by Ghibran enjoyed massive critical and commercial success.
Since then, there had been talk for remaking the film in multiple languages with the Ratsasan Telugu remake going on floors soon after.
Titled Rakshasudu, the psychological action thriller stars Bellamkonda Srinivas and Anupama Parameswaran reprising Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul’s roles respectively and has been directed by Ramesh Varma under actor Havish Lakshman Koneru’s A Studios in association with Abhishek Pictures and music once again by Ghibran.
With production on the film progressing at a brisk pace, the makers have now officially released the Rakshasudu first look, which shows Bellamkonda Srinivas and Anupama Parameswaran along with a little girl looking terrified at the danger that lies ahead of them in the form of a serial killer holding an axe, whose identity isn't revealed to the viewer.
Along with the first look poster, the makers have also now officially announced that Rakshasudu will be coming out in theatres as a Ramzan treat on August 11.
