Rajni attends S.P. Muthuraman's felicitation ceremony
After a much hyped cameo appearance in SRK's Ra. One, Superstar Rajinikanth made his first public appearance post his illness. On Saturday the 61-year-old actor attended the felicitation ceremony of veteran filmmaker S.P. Muthuraman in Chennai. Apart from that Rajni also attended Shakthi's (director P. Vasu's son) wedding reception on Sunday.
Now it looks like the actor is all set to begin his much awaited film Rana soon. Directed by K.S. Ravikumar, Rana is a period film with Rajni in three avatars. The film also has Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone as the leading lady and Sonu Sood plays the baddie. Oscar winning musician A.R. Rahman will compose the music while Ratnavelu handles the camera.
