The Corona Virus outbreak is getting severe with every passing day and it has impacted the daily livelihood of people all around the world. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a nationwide curfew which is being followed by the Indian citizens today (March 22). Supporting Janata Curfew, Superstar Rajinikanth shared a video in which he stated that the third stage of the virus can be controlled if people of the country listen to Modi’s words and be a part of the curfew. He also had a few other additional informations to share.

In a surprising manner, the video was taken down by the management of Twitter stating that the video violates the rules and regulations of Twitter and has misleading information. Following the takedown of the video, it created a huge buzz on social media and a section of people criticised Rajinikanth for supposedly spreading false information. Reacting to the criticisms, Rajinikanth has now officially released a statement in which he has clarified about the issue. He mentioned that people misunderstood what he said in the video.

The clarification statement read, “My video about the controlling of third stage of Corona virus was misunderstood by people and as a result, the Twitter management took down the video. As requested by our Government, let us be on quarantine for the next few weeks and focus on eradicating this deadly virus from the country.
