Rahman's CWG theme song in trouble?
Recently, Oscar winning musician A.R. Rahman was criticized heavily for his Commonwealth Games theme song, "Oh Yaaro, Ye India Bula Liya", which was released on August 28.
Now some well-known Indian classical dance personalities (including Pandit Birju Maharaj, Saroj Vaidhyanathan, Raja Reddy, Sonal Mansingh, Guru Singhajit and Bharati Shivaji ) who were to perform on his tune, have reportedly refused outright and have decided to compose their own tune.
Meanwhile, it is rumoured that some top celebrities, including Shahrukh Khan, will perform at the opening ceremony.
