Popular Kannada celebrity couple Raghu and Amrutha Ramamoorthy have finally revealed the name of their baby daughter. The star duo, who welcomed a baby girl last October, have named their adorable munchkin Dhruthi after late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar's elder daughter. Sharing the big news on Instagram, Amrutha posted a video from their daughter's naming ceremony and wrote, "Now you can call me "DHRUTHI" putti. Congratulatory messages have been pouring in for Amrutha and Raghu after their baby daughter's naming ceremony, with many extending their wishes on their choice for the name. Dhruthi, who is the new parents' first child, was born on October 21 last year. The baby naming ceremony was an intimate affair and saw only family members and friends close to the couple grace the occasion, including a few celebrities from the Kannada film industry.
Raghu and Amrutha tied the knot in May 2019 in Bengaluru as per South Kangara Brahmin and Gowda traditions. The couple had earlier dated for a few years and appeared as a couple on the popular TV show, Mr and Mrs Rangegowda, in which they played the lead characters Aishwarya and Rangegowda. Both stars garnered a huge following among the Kannada television audience and were also felicitated with the 'Best Jodi' award for their chemistry on the show. Raghu and Amrutha also enjoy a massive social media presence, with the former now playing the lead role on the Colors Kannada serial titled Nammane Yuvarani, while the latter's last appearance was on the show Kasturi Nivasa.
