Raghava Lawrence is a well-known actor in the Tamil film industry, whose latest film was Muni 4/ Kanchana 3 film that was released in 2019. After two years, the next film the actor that is to be released is Rudhran. In the film, Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead and R Sarathkumar as the antagonist. Fans are excited to see the on-screen reunion of the hit duo of Raghava Lawrence and Sarath Kumar after Kanchana. It also marks the directorial debut of director S. Kathiresan, who has produced many films under his company Five Star Creations. The film has music composed by the National Award-winning composer G.V. Prakash Kumar.

The makers of Rudhran had announced that the film is set to be released in theatres on April 28. The Madras High Court ordered a ban on the release of the film as the production house Revenza Global Private Limited that acquired the Hindi and other language dubbing righteous of the film filed a case. They said the production house and paid a huge sum to the makers of Rudhran in the first phase. As the Makes of the film abruptly conceled the dubbing rights contract with the production house. They have filled a case saying if the film was released on the day, they will lose a huge sum of money and so the high court ordered an interim ban on the release of the film.
The makers then filed a case saying that the anticipation of the film is huge and the film must be released on the Tamil New Year’s Day holiday. The Court dismissed the ban on the release Rudhran in Theatres, OTT and Television asked both the production firms to sort out the issue through arbitration. Now, the makers have officially announced that the film will release on April 14 as planned.
