Raghava Lawrence is a popular actor whose recent film Rudhran was released last week and is running successfully in theatres. The talented artist become a lead actor after being a dance choreographer and had also directed many hit films including the blockbuster horror comedy film series Muni / Kanchana. Raghava Lawrence is also a huge fan of 'Superstar' Rajinikanth and is a philanthropist who had done many social services. His recent film, Rudhran saw the reunion of the hit onscreen combo Sarath Kumar and Raghava Lawrence back after Kanchana.

Galatta Media organised a fan meet for the actor and they also interacted with Raghava Lawrence’s mother for a special Video. His mother Kanmani shared some exciting insights about the personal life of the actor and the struggles he went through earlier in his career. Speaking about ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth, The mother of the actor said “If Rajini sir had not given the letter my son would not have had this life. We bought a (membership) card for him to enter Cinema but during that time only if there was a recommendation from Vijayakanth, Rajinikanth or Kamal sir they will allow people inside, though we have the card. Because of God’s blessing, He met Rajinikanth one time. My son was working with Super Subbarayan at first, He took him to Rajini sir to shoot for a fight scene. At that time, Rajini sir asked who is this boy, He looks like a small boy and you are employing him (to the stunt director). Subbarayan said 'no, no, he knowns to dance very well, we must set him on the right path'. Rajinikanth asked Lawrence to dance by playing a song. He clapped and after the shooting ended he called Lawrence and asked him to come to his house the next day. Lawrence did not know what to do. The next day, After doing a pooja, morning at 5.00 AM, Rajinikanth gave the (recommendation) letter to him. Lawrence touched his feet and got his blessings too".
Raghava Lawrence's mother then revealed that the well-known dance master had tried to get into dancing before but was rejected saying he was dark-skinned and then he joined Super Subbarayan. Hearing this incident, 'Superstar' Rajinikanth had come forward to offer a recommendation letter to the actor, said his mother Kanmani.
