Popular Hindi actress Swara Bhasker, best known among Tamil cinema fans for starring in Dhanush's Raanjhanaa, has welcomed her first child, a baby girl, with husband, Samajwadi Party worker Fahad Ahmad. Sharing the joyous news along with pictures from the hospital, the star announced that her daughter's name is Raabiyaa, while revealing that she was born on September 23. Swara and Fahad wrote in a joint post on Instagram, "A prayer heard, a blessing granted, a song whispered, a mystic truth.. Our baby girl Raabiyaa was born on 23rd September 2023 ♥️♥️♥️ With grateful and happy hearts, thank you for your love! In the set of pictures shared by Swara and Fahad, the first one shows the new parents with baby Raabiyaa at the hospital, which was taken most likely when they were getting discharged. The second photo has the couple smiling beside their daughter in a cradle, which is followed by the new mom hugging her newborn girl after she had fallen asleep on the hospital bed. The fourth picture has Fahad cradling Raabiyaa in his arms, while the last one has all three of them together as a family. Soon after Swara and Fahad dropped the news, congratulatory messages began pouring in for the couple from all quarters, including celebrities and fans, who have been bombarding the comments section of their post.
Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad tied the knot in a court marriage in February earlier this year and announced their first pregnancy in June. Swara shot to fame after appearing in key roles in films like the Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-starrer Guzaarish (2010), Raanjhanaa (2013) also released in Tamil as Ambikapathy, Nil Battey Sannata (2016), Anaarkali of Aarah (2017), Veere Di Wedding (2018), and Sheer Qorma (2020) to name a notable few. She also garnered immense popularity for her roles in director Aanand L Rai's Tanu Weds Manu film series.
