Blockbuster Telugu producer-distributor Dil Raju is on cloud nine these days after the spectacular box office success of Varisu, which came out as a grand Pongal treat in January. The Tamil family entertainer starring 'Thalapathy' Vijay in the lead role, which also released in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages, was directed by Vamshi Paidipally under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. With Varisu grossing more than 310 crores at the box office, producer Dil Raju took part in an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Twitter with the hashtag #AskDilRaju on Wednesday ahead of the release of the Samantha-starrer, Shaakuntalam, which is will open in cinemas on April 14.

Addressing various queries regarding Shaakuntalam, his past films as well as his upcoming projects, Dil Raju was also asked about Vijay's reaction after the success of Varisu. The hit producer responded saying that the Tamil superstar was content with the outcome and wrote, "He is very happy about result and Pongal winner :)" Upon being asked when he will team up with Vijay once again, the producer kept it cryptic and replied with three winking face emojis. When one other fan asked him about what he feels about his next Tamil collaboration after Varisu, Dil Raju didn't reveal much, but informed saying that it is currently "under process".

Dil Raju, who is presenting Samantha's Shaakuntalam, became a favorite among Tamil audiences after the efforts he had undertaken to promote Varisu and fans will surely be looking forward to his reunion with Vijay for a new film sometime in the future. As of now, Dil Raju is producing Game Changer, starring Ram Charan in his first big role after the spectacular global success of his RRR, and will also mark the Telugu cinema debut of blockbuster Tamil filmmaker Shankar. Vijay, on the other hand, has kicked off the second schedule of his next biggie, the pan-Indian film LEO, under Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction being produced by Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio and will feature music by Anirudh Ravichander.
