The first single song from Top Star Prashanth's comeback film, Andhagan is out and this song is called 'En Kadhal'. This soulful number is composed by Santhosh Narayanan and sung by Sid Sriram and the duo manage to deliver a magical number that sounds pleasing and likeable. Sid Sriram's beautiful rendition elevates the sounding of the song to greater levels and this one is another worthy addition to his cap. Vivek has penned the lyrics for this song. 'En Kadhal' track has opened to a favourable response from the Tamil audience and we can expect the song to find a place in the playlists of music lovers.

Andhagan features Prashanth in the lead role and it is the official Tamil remake of the critically acclaimed blockbuster hit Hindi film, Andhadhun. Priya Anand plays the female lead in the film, reprising the role played by Radhika Apte, while Simran essays the character played by Tabu in the original version. With a colourful and promising cast leading from the front, Andhagan is directed by Prashanth's father Thiagarajan. Produced by Staar Movies, Andhagan is presented by veteran Tamil producer Kalaippuli S Thanu under his banner of V Creations.

Apart from the main leads, Andhagan also has several other prominent names in its supporting cast and it includes the likes of 'Navarasa Nayagan' Karthik, Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, Oorvashi, KS Ravikumar, Vanitha Vijayakumar, Leela Samson, Mohan Vaidya, Manobala, Poovaiyar, Besant Ravi, Lakshmi Pradeep, Rekha Suresh, Semmalar, Kavitha, and others. Prashanth will be seen playing a blind pianist in this film. Andhagan is expected to have an important place in Prashanth's filmography as it marks his return to Tamil cinema after a hiatus and all eyes are now on to the release of the film. Andhagan is expected to release in the summer of 2022 and an official word on the release plan is awaited.
