Yash and KGF fans have been tirelessly waiting for an update regarding the teaser of the KGF 2. It was earlier speculated that the teaser of KGF 2 will be released in the month of December 2019 then it was revealed that the teaser will be out on January 8th of 2020 for Yash’s birthday. The makers couldn’t release the teaser of the KGF 2 on the planned date but they had released an intriguing poster instead. Fans are still eagerly waiting to know more about KGF 2 which is one of the much-awaited films of the year but it is highly unlikely for the film will release this year as planned due to the outbreak of Corona Virus. The shooting of the film has been put on hold due to the lockdown but Prasanth Neel has been working on the post-production work of KGF 2 even before all these relaxations. Prashanth Neel is now the most-wanted director in Sandalwood after KGF 1st part which was a runaway blockbuster and an all-time industry hit. Prasanth Neel has now posted a photo of Yash facing the camera with the text - “Whats happening....lets keep you guessing???????????? Rocky and Neel ....#kgfchapter1” This message has left all KGF and Yash fans curious. Is Prasanth Neel doing a lockdown online interview with Yash regarding KGF? Prashanth and Yash are planning to change the dynamics of Kannada film industry with KGF 2. The success of KGF has opened up doors for other budding directors to make pan Indian films and the duo is planning to increase the boundary even bigger with the second part. Prasanth and music director Ravi Basrur have been working on the music for the film during the lockdown. Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt is playing an important role called Adheera in KGF 2, his look from the film has not been released so far. KGF 1 performed well commercially and collected ₹76 crore four days into release, in the process breaking the record for the highest-grossing Kannada film of all time. The movie was released online by Amazon Prime Video on 5 February 2019 which earlier bought the digital rights for ₹18 crores and Colors Kannada bought the satellite rights for an undisclosed record price. The film had an even bigger reception when it was released on Amazon Prime reaching wider audience who are all anticipating its sequel’s release. KGF 2 is going to have the biggest opening that a Kannada film has ever seen.
