Pradeep Rawat, villain
Pradeep Rawat, a North Indian actor who has become a popular villain in Telugu and Tamil films (he was the villain Ghajini), is all set to make his debut in Malayalam as villain in the forthcoming Mammootty movie Pattanaththil Bhootham to be directed by Johnny Antony.
Pradeep Rawat, who has won 3 awards (Filmfare Best Villain Award, Santosham Best Villain Award, Nandi Award for Best Villain) in 2005 for the Telugu film Sye, will play the villain opposite none other than superstar Mammootty. He had acted in Hindi as well for the films including Samundar, Insaaf, Agneepath, Awargi, Sarfarosh, etc. and made his presence felt in South Indian languages with Thotti Jaya, Bhadra, Lakshmi, Sabari and Jagadam.
Pattanathil Bhootham is the next venture in which Mammootty and director Johnny Antony team up after the successful Thuruppu Gulan. Mammootty plays a character named Jimmy, an adventurous bike rider who gets supernatural powers and uses them to fight injustice in society. Scripted by Sibi K. Thomas and Udayakrishna, Pattanathil Bhootham is expected to hit theatres during Christmas.
