Adipurush is the next big of actor Prabhas that is mounted on a massive budget based on the epic of Ramayana. The film was released in theatres worldwide in five languages on Friday 16th June. The production houses back-rolling the film T Series and Retrophiles have released the official box office statement of the film. The makers have shared that “Adipurush continues to captivate audiences across generations, crossing an astounding Rs.340 crores on the opening weekend at the box office”. This shows that the film has crossed over Rs.340 crores at the global box office collections.

The makers have not shared regional and worldwide collection of Adipurush but, they have been releasing the daily collection report. The producers shared that on the first day, the film grossed Rs.140 crores and this shows the film consecutively collected Rs.100 crores the second and third day. Despite mixed reviews, the film has managed to become one of the Bollywood films with massive opening weekend box office collections. The adaptation of the epic of Ramayana was released in 3D in five languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The film is expected to break more records in the coming days.
Apart from Prabhas, Adipurush also has Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan playing the role of Janaki and Lankaesh. The film was helmed by Om Raut and is made on a massive budget of over Rs.500 crores. Yesterday, the makers of the film T Series announced they will be re-vamping the dialogues in the film for a unified public experienced and expresses gratitude for the valuable perspectives and thoughts. This follows the backlash for some dialogues that were raised eyebrows after the release of the film. The writer of the film also released an elaborate statement regarding the issue.
