Abburi Ravi is a screenwriter who works in the Telugu film industry. His mother Lalitha aged 73 passed away on April 1st evening due to a cardiac arrest. The cremation took place at Mahaprasathanam yesterday morning. Abburi Ravi belongs to Bhimavaram in Andhra Pradesh. He won Nandi Award for Best Dialogue Writer for the 2006 movie Bommarillu. Abburi Ravi is a renowned dialogue writer who has also worked on the screenplay for a few films.

Abburi has been part of several blockbuster Telugu film like Goodachari, Oopiri, Kshanam, Yevadu, Kick, Don, Bommarillu and many more. He is someone who can write dialogues for atypical mass masala entertainer as well as a heart-wrenching emotional drama like Oopiri. Abburi and director Trivikram graduated from the same college in Bhimavaram. They were classmates up to 10th class. We express our deepest condolences to the family of the departed.
