Thalapathy Vijay's Beast is one of the highly expected films of this year and the fans have pinned high hopes on the movie directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila and Doctor fame. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film has music composed by rockstar Anirudh Ravichander, continuing his successful association with Vijay after Kaththi and Master. The rockstar composer recently delivered the chartbuster hit number, 'Arabic Kuthu' which has been making noise ever since its release, turning out to be a sensational worldwide hit.

Acclaimed director Selvaraghavan will be seen playing a crucial role in the film, marking his second movie as an actor after Saani Kaayidham. Shine Tom Chacko, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das and others form the supporting cast. With cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by R Nirmal, Beast has Pooja Hegde playing the female lead, marking her return to Tamil cinema after Mugamoodi which was her debut flick. Having said that, Pooja Hegde has now shared her excitement about Beast in her latest interview with popular Hindi media, Bollywood Hungama.

Talking in the interview, Pooja Hegde said, "I guess technically we haven't announced the release date. We have just mentioned that it is an April release, but the date is yet to be announced. Beast is a proper Nelson Dilipkumar meets Thalapathy Vijay film, it's a good crossover between the 2 worlds. I'm excited because this year I have great films in terms of my work, whether it's Radhe Shyam, Beast, or Acharya.".

Pooja Hegde has been receiving positive feedback from the audience for her impressive performance as Prerana. Radhe Shyam is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and has Prabhas in the lead role. The film has managed to perform well at the worldwide box office, earning good numbers. It looks like happening days are ahead for the talented actress.
