Thalapathy Vijay is right now busy shooting for his next, Master, which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Kaithi fame. This action thriller is slated to release on April 9 and the fans are super excited already. Meanwhile, various names have been rumoured to direct the actor’s next, Thalapathy 65. Vijay has reportedly heard stories from directors like Sudha Kongara, Pandiraj, Arunraja Kamaraj, and many other leading directors and an official word is awaited. Meanwhile, one of the fans tagged director and actor R Parthiban on Twitter and expressed that it would be great if he directs Thalapathy 65.

Parthiban had a very interesting reply to the fan and he also shared a few unknown incidents that happened in the past. Parthiban revealed that Vijay had asked him to direct Nanban initially, before approaching Shankar and also asked him to pen the story for the Azhagiya Tamizh Magan project (before signing Bharathan and his story). Parthiban assured the fans that his collaboration with Thalapathy Vijay will happen very soon and when it happens, it will be a treat for them.

Well, this reply has made the fans excited. Parthiban is right now committed with various projects including his next directorial, Iravin Nizhal (single shot film), the Hindi remake of Oththa Seruppu with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
