Vijay, who plays the role of Parthiban and is referred to as Parthi by his close ones in Leo, faces a crisis when he is mistaken for one Leo Das, with the film's story revolving around how he faces several obstacles in his path. Having said that, ever since the film's release, fans have been posting various memes and edited pictures of Vijay with actor-filmmaker R. Parthiban on social media, and one AI photo has now caught the eye of the two-time National Award winner, who took to X on Thursday, October 26, to share his reaction. Sharing the AI photo posted by a fan from Leo, which has been edited with his face onto Vijay's face, Parthiban expressed his astonishment at the final output, while also asking to be forgiven by the Leo star's fans. He wrote in Tamil, "Mr Vijay fans மன்னிக்க! இப்படியெல்லாம் செய்ய முடியுமான்னு ஆச்சர்யமா இருக்கு!" (English translation: Mr Vijay fans forgive me! I'm surprised that this can be done!" On the work front, Parthiban is gearing up to begin work on his next directorial, which will feature music composed by D. Imman. The upcoming project is touted to be an adventure thriller, which will see the Iravin Nizhal star once again playing the lead role, and will include five songs in total, with pre-production work currently underway. 'Thalapathy' Vijay, on the other hand, is at present busy filming the tentatively titled Thalapathy 68 under Venkat Prabhu's direction, and the "high-octane action film" will include music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
