Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have now tied the knot and posted pictures from the lavish fairytale wedding held at the Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan, on Monday, September 25. The leading Bollywood actress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) politician took their wedding vows in the presence of family members, celebrities, and personalities from all walks of life, with the photos showing scenes of a big celebration. Posting the pictures from their big fat wedding on Instagram, Parineeti wrote in her caption: "From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time .. So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs! Couldn’t have lived without each other .. Our forever begins now .. 💖"(sic)
Both Parineeti and Raghav radiated immense energy at their wedding, which saw them in rich traditional attire. While the bride looked more gorgeous than ever in a blush lehenga, the groom appeared at his dashing best in a cream sherwani. The photos from the wedding also show the love the newly married couple has for each other, including one where Raghav plants a soft kiss on Parineeti's forehead. Wishes are also pouring in for the couple from their friends in the film fraternity, with Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Anushka Sharma commenting on their wedding photos on Instagram, "Congratulations ♥️". Likewise, Neha Dhupia wrote, "Congratulations you two … here’s to the best and the best lives together ♾️ ❤️", while Malaika Arora said, "Congratulations mr n mrs …. Actor Arjun Kapoor too had words of love for his Ishaqzaade co-star Parineeti on the next important phase in her life. He said, "Ishaqzaade from reel to real ho hi gaya ❤️🤗".
