A Tamil television serial that has garnered immense popularity in its more than two-year run is Pandian Stores currently airing on Vijay TV, while also being streamed on Hotstar. Meanwhile, fans were in for a shock when Chaitra Reddy of the popular Tamil serial Yaaradi Nee Mohini took to her Instagram page to drop the news that Pandian Stores actress Kausalya Senthamarai has been admitted to the SIMS hospital in Vadapalani, Chennai and is currently in a critical condition under life support. Known also for acting in the serial Poove Poochoodava, Kausalya is the wife of late actor Senthamarai. Chaitra Reddy in her Instagram story has requested fans to contribute financially for her treatment with bank details of Kausalya’s daughter. 

Chaitra wrote, "Dear friends, Our Kousalya Paati w/o Actor Senthamarai sir is admitted in SIMS Hospital, Vadapalani. She is under life support and seriously struggling to meet hospital bills.
