Telugu superstar Jr. NTR and blockbuster Kannada filmmaker Prashanth Neel's film, the tentatively titled NTR 31, will flag off production in April 2024 after it was initially announced to begin filming next March. The film's team shared the big update in a new announcement on Thursday, October 5, describing the upcoming "prestigious" venture to be a "high-octane spectacle" and adding that it "will create a new benchmark in Indian Cinema". The team's latest statement about how the film is going to be a display of grand action will no doubt come as exciting news to fans. Although no specific reason has been given for the change in the shooting plans, it is believed that Jr. NTR will be looking to complete his ongoing project, Devara, before he begins shooting for NTR 31.

There has been massive excitement surrounding NTR 31 for quite some time and Prashanth Neel, who is known best among movie buffs and film aficionados for his blockbuster KGF franchise, is expected to come out with yet another action-packed visual feast. The KGF director is currently busy with the post-production works of his Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire with Prabhas, which is scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on December 22. As of now, not much is known about NTR 31 and whether it will be connected to the KGF franchise or Salaar in any manner, and fans will be keeping a keen eye on the developments related to the film in the days ahead. Confirming NTR 31 back in May 2021, Prashanth Neel wrote on his now-defunct X (formerly Twitter) page, "The only soil that is worth remembering is the one soaked in blood! His soil.... His reign .... But definitely not his blood.... #NTR31 is going to be hugeeeee 🔥 (sic)"
