Leading actress Nithya Menen issued a statement on Tuesday, September 26, addressing the false rumors about getting harassed by a Tamil film hero. The South Indian star, who was last seen in Tamil in the blockbuster Dhanush-starrer Thiruchitrambalam (2022), took to her Instagram Stories and denied the false rumors spreading around claiming that she was harassed by a leading hero. Sharing a screenshot of a report claiming her statement, Nithya Menen clarified writing that she had not given any interviews while appealing to social media users to guide her to the person(s) who spread the rumors. She further added that she would hold the people accountable for their false claims for the sake of news clicks.
Nithya Menen wrote, "False news ! Completely untrue ! I have never given an interview. If anyone knows - please point me in the direction of who started this rumor. Need to hold people accountable for simply making these types of false news just to get clicks" (sic). This latest clarification from the popular actress will no doubt put a full stop to the false rumors, which caused quite a big stir on social media earlier in the day. Fans too will feel quite relieved with Nithya Menen breaking her silence over the latest rumors ahead of her upcoming Telugu comedy-drama web series, Kumari Srimathi, premiering on September 28 on Amazon Prime Video (also streaming in Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi languages).
