NGBR on March 6
The Sivaji-Kaveri Jha starrer Naa Girlfriend Baaga Rich (NGBR), directed by M. Nagendra Kumar and produced by Kumar Brothers under the banner of KBC Cinema, has been scheduled to hit theatres on March 6. Earlier, the film was expected on February 20, but was postponed to avoid competition between other major films releasing on the same day including Drona, Venkatadri and 16 Days.
"The current day's youth aspires to have a beautiful girl friend�with a good academic qualifications and a sound job. But the hero of this film wants a rich girl apart from being beautiful too," the director said.
Sources indicate that the film has turned out to be very entertaining and Kaveri Jha's glamour and Brahmanandam's comedy will be the highlights of the movie. The film is rumoured to have plenty of glamour scenes. NGBR was shot in Goa and Hyderabad extensively, with most of the song sequences�shot in the tourist paradise.
Dialogues are penned by Vemagiri, camera by Maro and music by Mantra fame Anand. Ahuti Prasad, Kamal, Vijaysai, Tulasi, Ramaprabha and�Allari Subhashini are the other prominent cast members. Upendra is the editor, while story, screenplay and direction are by Nagendrakumar. Cinematography is by Maro. A. Pandu is the executive producer.
