Actors Tovino Thomas and Keerthy Suresh’s upcoming courtroom drama Vaashi is gearing up for theatrical release and the makers announced the worldwide theatrical release date of the film which is scheduled for 17 June 2022. The film directed by Vishnu G Raghav, written by Janiz Chacko Simon and the director himself, and bankrolled by G Suresh Kumar and Menaka. Neil D Cunha was roped in as the film's cinematographer while Arju Benn was made in charge of the editing department. The music department of Vaashi was left in the trusted hands of the renowned music composer Kailas Menon with Vinayak Sasikumar penning down the lyrics for the songs in the movie.

Speaking of songs, the makers have released a new video song titled 'Rithuragam' through Think Music India. The song features the characters of both Tovino and Keerthy making their way through life as advocates and the stuff they face with while on the job. It also highlights the bond and relationship that the two characters share. The song is melodious accompanied with soothing music and promising lyrics which perfectly supports the video that is sure to cast a smile upon its viewer's face.

The release date was announced a month prior to its release date on 17 May 2022 along with a glimpse video. Tovino and Keerthy will be playing advocates Ebin Mathew and Madhavi Mohan respectively who will be facing off against each other. Tovino Thomas, while commenting about the film earlier, had said that the film portrays something that is super relevant and that would reach out to audiences soon.
