Actress Nayanthara is one of the most popular names in south Indian cinema as her reign at the top of the league has been for over four years on the trot now.
Lovingly called as the 'Lady Superstar', Nayanthara is currently the busiest actress in south India with multiple projects in active development.
Among her film lineup, the actress was announced last year to be part of the ongoing mammoth Telugu period film, Sye Raa Narasasimha Reddy.
Starring 'Mega Star' Chiranjeevi, the film is based on the life of Telugu freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy and is being produced by Ram Charan’s Konidela Production Company banner at an estimated Rs. 150 crores budget under Surender Reddy’s direction.
With a major schedule wrapped up sometime back, actress Nayanthara is now said to have joined the Sye Raa sets and will reportedly be seen in a new look for her role.
It must be noted the film has an ensemble star cast starting with iconic Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan in a vital supporting role.
'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi will be playing the role of Obayya, the deputy of Chiranjeevi, in the film.
Telugu star Jagapathi Babu, who will be known to Tamil audiences as the villain in Vijay’s Bairavaa, also has a starring role in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
One of the hottest names in the the Kannada film industry, Kiccha Sudeep will be seen in a powerful role too.
