Lady Superstar Nayanthara is celebrating her birthday today (November 18) and the talented actress is receiving wishes from various quarters. Nayanthara's fans are celebrating the day and showing their love through common DPs, tribute videos and special designs. Marking her birthday, the teaser of her next Tamil film, Netrikann was released this morning (October 18) and it has opened to a very positive reception from the fans. Directed by Milind Rau and produced by Vignesh Shivan, this spine-chilling thriller will feature Nayanthara as a visually challenged person and the impressively cut teaser has already garnered huge attention among the fans.

Following that, the fans of Nayanthara have now gotten one more reason to celebrate the day. A new poster from her upcoming Malayalam film, Nizhal has been released and through this poster, the character look of Nayanthara has been unveiled. She looks radiant and beautiful in this poster. Nayanthara's simple yet elegant look has already won the hearts of the fans and the poster is doing good rounds on the Internet. Nayanthara will be sharing screen space with actor Kunchacko Boban in Nizhal. Kunchacko and Nayanthara are coming together on screen after a gap of 12 years. They had last featured together in a song in the Malayalam film, Twenty 20.

After delivering an impressive performance in Dhyan Sreenivasan's directorial, Love Action Drama (Nivin Pauly), this will be Nayanthara's next outing in Malayalam cinema and she would be looking forward to continuing the streak. Nizhal is a thriller, directed by critically acclaimed editor Appu N Bhattathiri of Veeram and Ottamuri Velicham fame. He will be making his directorial debut with this venture. Nizhal will be produced by Anto Joseph Film Company and Melange Film House, in association with Tentpole Movies.

The film will have music scored by Sooraj S Kurup while the cinematography will be handled by Deepak D Menon. Sanjeev has penned the story of this film. The makers have announced that the film will release in 2021. The shooting of Nizhal is currently progressing at Ernakulam and its surrounding areas and the makers have planned it as a quickie. Apart from this film and Netrikann, Nayanthara will be seen playing one of the leads in Vignesh Shivan's directorial - Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal that has Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha as the other leads.
