Light House Cine Magic banner’s 2nd production has been launched on Saturday at Hyderabad's Ramanaidu Studios with a puja ceremony. The film is said to be a suspense thriller and will see Siva Kantamaneni as the hero of the project. The yet-to-be-titled film is directed by Sajeev Megoti and will see Nandita Swetha, Raashi, K Ashok Kumar and Srinivasa Reddy playing pivotal roles. The launch event also saw the first shot being filmed on the hero. Vasavi Group's Vijay Kumar switched on the camera while Ashok Kumar gave the clap.
Speaking at the event, Nandita Swetha said ” Till now, I have only done serious roles and for the first time, I am doing an out and out glamor role. This film will prove all those wrong who said that I can only do female-oriented films”. This film will also see Raasi making her comeback. “I am happy to be back working for a good script. I liked the story in which I am playing an independent woman. My character is very bold and independent. After a very long time, I got a character that I have been wishing to do,” Raasi said at the event.
It was announced at the event that the plan is to complete the shoot in two schedules. The first schedule will go on for 25 days. The next one will start after a gap of 15 days. It was also announced that some songs have already been recorded.
