One film that has created a lot of curiosity among Tamil cinema fans of late is the upcoming Naai Sekar, which marks comedy actor Sathish's debut as a hero and is being produced by blockbuster banner AGS Entertainment. The film, billed to be a fun-filled comedy venture directed by debutant Kishore Rajkumar, will see Cooku with Comali season 2 fame Pavithra Lakshmi playing the female lead. With production on Naai Sekar still ongoing, the makers on Saturday released the first single track titled 'Edakku Modakku', which has been composed and sung by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander to the lyrics penned by actor-producer Sivakarthikeyan.
The 'Edakku Modakku' song lyric video also shows glimpses of the behind-the-scenes action from the Naai Sekar shooting spot, with Sathish shaking his feet and actress Pavithra Lakshmi also giving him company to Anirudh's lively beats. The lyrics of the song are peppy and will no doubt turn out to be a hit among audiences of all ages, especially kids, considering Naai Sekar revolves around the relationship between Sathish and a dog as was teased in the first look poster that was unveiled sometime back. It is to be noted that comedy superstar 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu too is working in another film with a similar title, which has been revealed to be Naai Sekar Returns.
