Miss India finalist Rakul enters Tollywood
Following the footsteps of Rebel Star Krishnam Raju's brother's son Prabhas, yet another member from Krishnam Raju family is entering showbiz. Prabhas' cousin Siddharth Rajkumar will be the debut hero in a romantic film to be made in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam by leading Kannada producer S.V. Babu under his banner S.V. Productions.
Femina Miss India 2011 finalist Rakul Preet Singh will be the debut heroine of this film. A model from Delhi, Rakul has acted in the Kannada film Gilli and some TV commercials, including Vicco Turmeric.
Sources said that Rajkumar and Rakul share a terrific on-screen chemistry in this yet-to-be titled movie, directed by Gautham Patnaik, who earlier worked as co-director with maverick Telugu producer M.S. Raju. The film is slated for release in July.
