Today is April 9 and ideally, this day was supposed to witness the mega grand release of Thalapathy Vijay’s Master worldwide. Ever since the clock struck 12, from midnight Vijay fans have been expressing their disappointment at not being able to see the film today, as originally expected. Reacting to all the fan posts and the delay in the film’s release, the makers have now come up with an official statement. Additionally, as a surprise, a new poster from the film has been released and this poster carries an interesting caption that says, “Lockdown shouldn’t knockdown our spirits. Master will meet you soon.”

The production house of Master, XB Film Creators tweeted, “We miss you, just like how you miss us! Hoping that a master-mind finds an antidote and put an end to Corona! We'll come back stronger nanbaa. Stay home, Stay Safe. #Master #StaySafe”. Similarly, the Captain of the ship, director Lokesh Kanagaraj tweeted, “Survival first! Celebration next! #master will rise on the right time! stay home stay safe!”.
