Vishnu Priya, who was already a popular name, has now become a sensation after the release of Mark Antony and recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Galatta to talk about her experience shooting the film alongside Vishal and S J Suryah. Recalling how director Adhik Ravichandran convinced her for the portrayal of Silk Smitha's role in the film, she said, "They held many look test sessions in sarees and informed me to lose some weight. I acted in this film eight months back and it has been released now. The director told me to focus on my expressions and said that the dialogue would be handled during dubbing. He would teach me the dialogue during the shooting, which I eventually conveyed."
Speaking further about her experience of portraying Silk Smitha in Mark Antony, Vishnu Priya Gandhi stated, "She is an irreplaceable character. Initially, I was nervous because they had done a look test with sarees, but the costumes were a little glamorous when we went for the shooting. I felt a bit shy to wear them for the first couple of days, but it got better after that."
