Galatta Media, known for organising incredible events, organised a fans festival for actor S.J. Suryah. In a special segment, Adhik Ravichandran director of Mark Antony made an appearance at the event and shared about his experience with the versatile actor. The actor said “It was not that easy, I have travelled with sir for about four to five years. When I wrote a story and went to sir first, he said 'no I was expecting something else' and I came back. Then during the first Covid lockdown, I narrated a story and he liked it, then sir became busy. Then, when I started Mark Antony I called sir up and said I am doing a film with Vishal sir and he said 'no, I am not interested in doing another film like that again, It's enough that I have done Maanaadu and my path is different sir'. I then asked him to listen to the story once. I said a story to him. The truth is I have done mimicry of sir's voice in college and received applause. So, I narrated the story to him in his mannerism."
S.J. Suryah said he said to the director Adhik Ravichander that he will only do the role it is also a dual role and he accepted. The actor then said he thought Mark Antony director was deceiving him but he was true to his words. The actor then said, “if you liked Maanaadu you will definitely enjoy Mark Antony."
