''Heartbreaking to see the visuals'' - Mani Ratnam's shooting spot destructed
Super Cyclonic Storm Amphan was a very powerful and deadly tropical cyclone that caused widespread damage over East India and Bangladesh. Kolkata is the most affected city because of Amphan. Thousands of trees have fallen across Kolkata roads, virtually blocking nearly all roads. Actor Abishek Bachchan took to his Instagram space to share a few words about the destruction. He also added that the places where he shot for his film Yuva directed by Mani Ratnam was also destructed completely. Yuva is 2004 Hindi film which happens to be the Hindi version of Ayutha Ezhuthu.
Abishek Bachchan Instagram post reads as follows - “Wow! 16yrs already. This photo was taken on the sets of #Yuva in Kolkata. We were about to begin shooting the climax of the film. A memorable shoot. Based in Kolkata. It’s heartbreaking to see the visuals coming out of Kolkata in the wake of the destruction left behind by #cycloneAmphan 🙏🏽 #16yrsofYuva
