Mamta Mohandas opposite Nagarjuna?
After playing second fiddle to Trisha in the super hit of Nagarjuna starrer King (2008), ravishing Malayalam-Tamil-Telugu actress-singer Mamta Mohandas has been offered the lead role opposite Nagarjuna in debutant director Kiran Kumar's upcoming Telugu film 23 (tentative title), which was launched in July.
Produced by D. Siva Prasad Reddy under the banner of Kamakshi Kala Movies, the film has music by Sandeep Chowta and cinematography by Sarwesh Murari. It is expected to hit screens in December, Nagarjuna’s lucky month.
Meanwhile, Mamta recently grabbed media attention by withdrawing from several Malayalam projects, following severe fever. Mamta had agreed to do two Malayalam movies, but was forced to withdraw from them due to "non-stop fever".
