Actress Malaika Arora met with a car accident on Saturday (April 2) evening near Khalapur Toll Plaza in Mumbai. Following the accident, Malaika Arora suffered minor injuries after which she was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Navi Mumbai. The incident garnered wide attention on social media among the netizens and the fans prayed for the actress' speedy recovery. According to reports, Malaika Arora's car rammed into another car which in turn dashed with another, thereby causing an accident. Following the accident, the Police said that an FIR will be filed after investigating how the accident happened.

After Malaika Arora was admitted to the hospital, the management issued an official statement on her health condition, informing that Malaika suffered injuries on her forehead, near her eyes, adding that she is doing fine. It was also added that the actress would be discharged from the hospital tomorrow morning. read, "Actor Malaika has minor injuries on her forehead; CT scan has turned out fine & she is currently okay. The actor will be kept under observation for the night & will be discharged in the morning tomorrow: Apollo Hospital".
