Madhumitha engaged to Shiv Balaji
Actor-director Parthiban’s find Madhumitha was betrothed to Tollywood’s upcoming actor Shiva Balaji (second hero in Arya) on August 21st in a grand function at Golconda Hotel, Hyderabad. Shiva Balaji is Madhumitha’s long-time friend. He acted in Englishkaran (Sathyaraj starrer) as the second hero opposite her. Madhumitha is also known as Swapna Madhuri.
According to Madhumitha, this is not exactly a love marriage; their relationship is not based on the typical love-at-first-sight experience, but instead, it is more of a friendship which grew stronger over a period of time, during which they developed immense mutual respect and understanding. The decision of marriage was unanimously taken by the couple and their parents.

Madhumitha, who debuted in Parthiban’s directorial venture Kudaikkul Mazhai went on to act in a string of films including Englishkaran, Arai En 305-il Kadavul, Amudhe, Naalai, and is one of the successful actresses of Kollywood. She is currently acting in Yogi, Solla Solla Inikkum, Nalvaravu and Kadhal Meipada. She will complete these films before her marriage.
