Special update on Madhavan's debut directorial - Rocketry | here is what you need to know!

Madhavan's debut directorial venture, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is all set to release in theatres on July 1 and we are just 4 days away from witnessing the film on the big screens. Days before the release, the makers have now revealed interesting censor-related updates about the film and here are the details about it. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect has cleared the censor test with a U/A certificate and the final theatrical version has been locked with a runtime of 157 minutes (2 hours 37 minutes). The film will have a pan Indian release in 6 different languages - Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, and English.

We have seen Madhavan, the actor in all these years and it is now time for us to witness the filmmaker inside him. The pre-release reports about the film have been positive and let us hope that the film strikes a chord with the masses. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is based on the life story of Nambi Narayanan, a former ISRO scientist and aerospace engineer who was falsely accused of espionage. Madhavan will be essaying the character of Nambi Narayanan in this film that has Simran playing the female lead, reuniting with him after Kannathil Muthamittal.
Suriya will be seen playing a special cameo in the Tamil version of Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, while Shah Rukh Khan will play the character in the Hindi version. Produced by Tricolour Films in association with Varghese Moolan Pictures, the film will have music composed by Sam CS, while the cinematography and editing departments have been headed by Sirsha Ray and Bijith Bala. Madhavan has been actively promoting the film across multiple locations and this one is one of his most ambitious projects. Madhavan was last seen in Maara, the Amazon Prime Video film, directed by Dhilip Kumar. Maara opened to fairly positive reviews from the audiences.
