Machcha audio released

Machcha, which was launched a year ago, is finally completed and is gearing up for release. The audio release function was conducted recently in Bangalore’s Green House restaurant, the usual venue for such functions.

Jeevan and Saritha Jain are the lead pair. The music release function was graced by the presence of several film personalities who wished good luck for the film and� its crew. Ashok Kheni, who plays the role of a police commissioner in the film, released the album.The film has six songs for which Arjun has scored the music.

Executive producer Deepak Shetty described music director Arjun as the A.R. Rahman of Kannada. Director Dathu admitted that the film took a long time to finish due to various reasons. He said that out of one year, the shooting was done for only 79 days. Actress Saritha Jain requested�support from the media to make the film successful. Jeevan said that the shooting comprised�a mix of good and bad experiences.

The film,�currently in its re-recording stage, is set to release in January 2009.
