Maamannan is a recent blockbuster hit film that features Udhayanidhi Stalin and ‘Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu in lead roles. The film was directed by Trial-blazing actor Mari Selvaraj and was praised by many critics, fans and Movies buffs. Now, the makers of the film have released a new song from the film after the film release that has music composed by A.R. Rahman. The film is a reprise version of the song Nenjame Nenjame from the album of the movie. This reprise version features vocals by the legendary singer Deva and has lyrics written by Yugabharathi, The makers have also released a video for the song.

The one and half minute long video opens with the legendary singer Deva singing the lines of the lyricist Yugabharathi. 'Maamannan' video then shows a glimpse from the movie of a boy in the street and a middle-aged man finding the boy and giving him shelter. The man is a person who teaches Adimurai (a traditional Indian martial arts form that originated in Tamil Nadu) to kids. As the song continues, shots of the boy learning the martial art form is shown and the song ends with a shot of Vadivelu traveling in a car with some people and his wife standing on the terrace of their home.
The original version of Nenjame Nenjame that was released was a romantic melody song that shows blooming interest between the characters in Maamannan, played by Keerthy Suresh and Udhayanidhi Stalin, that sing was sung by Vijay Yesudas and Shakthishree Gopalan. This reprise version of the song could be a background score used in the flashback sequence of the film. Maaamannan was a blockbuster hit and was released last month end. It features Udhayanidhi Stalin, Vaigai Puyal Vadiivelu, Fahad Faasil and Keerthy Suresh is also set to release in Telugu as Nayakudu on July 14.
