Maamannan is the next big film of Udhayanidhi Stalin that is directed by Mari Selvaraj of Karnan and Pariyerum Perumal fame. The film has created a huge excitement as it also has 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu in an important and exciting role. The film also has Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead and popular Malayalam actor Fahad Faasil in an important role. The audio of the film was launched in a grand event in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on June 1 and an album of seven songs composed by A.R. Rahman was released. Now, the makers have released the fifth single from the movie as a lyrical video titled Kodi Parakura Kaalam.

The song Kodi Parakura Kaalam from Maaveeran was already released on many music streaming platforms. The new lyrical video of the song features the singers Kalapana Raghavendra, Rakshita Suresh, Deepthi Suresh and Aparna Harikumar and shows a glimpse of the song. The video shows the singers performing on a stage. While the actress Keerthy Suresh performs the song at a Government Arts college event with a group of dancers. It showed a huge crowd of women in the audience. The song is about the empowerment of women, with lines like the sky is the limit. Keerthy Suresh sets the stage on fire in the dance number.
This is the fifth single from the movie Maamannan, the first song that was released Raasa Kannu was sung by 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu and the second single was Jigu Jigu Rail sung by A.R. Rahman. Nenjame Nenjame was a romantic melody and Manna Maamanna by Arivu was also released. The remaining two songs that are set to release are Utcahanthala, which is a sad melancholic sing and Veeran which is a song by A.R. Rahman's song A.R. Ameen. The film is said to release by June end and the trailer of the film is expected to release a few days ahead of the movie's release.
