Back in 2020, in the middle of the Covid pandemic, as everyone waited patiently for the lockdown across the country to be lifted, Lokesh Kanagaraj quote-tweeted a special poster of Vijay from Master ahead of the actor's birthday, which he soon after pinned on his Twitter page. That tweet had not been removed from its pinned position even after the filmmaker's next big blockbuster, the 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan-starrer Vikram had released, with the Leo first look poster now taking that place and replacing the Master poster. With the latest glimpse from Leo now a rage among fans across all social networking forums, the wait is on to witness Vijay in action on the big screen and all faith is on Lokesh Kanagaraj to deliver a visual spectacle when the film arrives in theatres on October 19.
Expectations are huge for Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj to come out firing on all cylinders with their Leo and to surpass the success of their Master, which came out as a grand Pongal treat in 2021. The upcoming film releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada languages has Trisha as the female lead, with Sanjay Dutt cast in the role of the antagonist, while Arjun, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Sandy master, Mathew Thomas among others will also be making appearances.
