Leading actor Vishal has extended his wishes to 'Thalapathy' Vijay, director Lokesh Kanagaraj, and the entire team of their film, Leo, releasing in theatres worldwide on October 19. Appearing in a video shared on social media, the Mark Antony star informed fans that he will be praying for the upcoming mass action drama film's success. In the video posted on his X page, Vishal said, "It is well-known that our favorite 'Ilayathalapathy' Vijay's Leo is releasing worldwide tomorrow. I believe this film is definitely going to be a visual treat and will be liked by you all. I have confidence that you will go to the theatres to watch this film. I want to convey to my favorite 'Ilayathalapathy' Vijay, Trisha, and the rest of the cast, director Lokesh Kanagaraj, and producer Lalit my hearty wishes. And, I'll pray to the Almighty that this film becomes a success. I think this film is going to be a rollercoaster ride and it's going to be a visual treat for everyone. Vishal's latest statement wishing Vijay for the success of Leo isn't the first time he has expressed his admiration for the Tamil superstar. The Ayogya star has often cited the Varisu actor as an inspiration while meeting him earlier this year for a special presentation of the Mark Antony teaser. It is to be noted that Vishal was initially approached to play the Harold Das character in Leo, but had to let go of the big opportunity due to his own acting commitments, with 'Action King' Arjun eventually landing the role.
