The wait is over for 'Thalapathy' Vijay's fans everywhere as the OTT release date for the Tamil superstar's latest box-office blockbuster, Leo, has now been officially announced by Netflix on Monday, November 20. The global streaming giant made the much-awaited big announcement by writing on their social media handles that the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial featuring music by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander will premiere in India on November 24, while the mass action drama film's global launch will be on November 28 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages.
Sharing two posters for the Leo OTT release announcement, Netflix India South wrote on X, "The wait is finally over!! We have some Bloody Sweet news for you. 🍫 Naa Ready! Are you?🔥 #Leo is coming to Netflix on 24th Nov in India and 28th Nov Globally in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada & Hindi." (sic) The OTT release date announcement of the Vijay-starrer by Netflix has come at a time when the film continues to witness a strong audience turnout in theatres. It is to be noted that Leo was recently re-released in over 100 screens across Tamil Nadu after the Diwali releases and saw a good opening once again.

There has been quite a lot of excitement surrounding Leo's OTT release as the film has already minted more than 600 crores in worldwide gross collections, with the Netflix premiere also expected to create records. Vijay's latest already has several big records to its credit such as being the highest-grossing and the first 100-crore film in Tamil Nadu, while also registering a number of box office feats in domestic and international markets. Leo, which is headlined by Vijay, also features a stellar star cast that includes Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Gautham Menon, Madonna Sebastian, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Sandy master, Priya Anand, Mathew Thomas, Baby Iyal, among others in key roles.
